Immanuel's annual Good Gift Campaign has begun!
Together, our goal is to buy the Family Farm!
A Family Farm costs $715.00.
The Family Farm offers many animals to help feed and raise money for the needy family. They can breed animals, sell off small herds, sell eggs, etc.
The Family Farm package has a cow, two goats, a dozen chicks, two pigs, farming tools, seeds, and agricultural training.
Make your checks out to Immanuel Lutheran Church and place them in the display area donation jar in the Gathering Area by the farm display. Cash is good, too. Donations will be taken until April 2, 2023.

Meals on Wheels is a program from the Department on Aging that provides hot, balanced meals once a day through the week to area seniors and home-bound of Lenawee County. The Adrian Senior Center prepares the meals and they are loaded and taken to area senior centers for packaging and distribution. Without this program, some people may not eat...the next scheduled time for Immanuel's family to help with deliveries is coming up in June, 2023. Be looking here for the dates.
On a rotating bases, area churches are called to provide volunteers to deliver the packages of food, but during the past few months, volunteers have been hard to find.
If you can deliver meals on one, some or all week days, please let the Senior Center know. You may call (517) 486-2397. Even one day will be helpful! You will be expected to arrive at the Senior Center (Lane St. Blissfield, down town) around 10:15-10:30 AM, pack your route's clipboard and coolers in your vehicle (you can get help with this), and run your route between 10:30 and Noon. In the winter months the time is a little later (10:30 to 12:30) due to meal delivery coming from Adrian. Once your finished with the route, drive back to the center and drop off the clipboard and coolers and leave---with a smile from helping someone! Or, stay and enjoy a reasonably priced delicious meal with other drivers and friends.
If you have signed up to deliver meals and the weather has turned inclement, call the center (517) 486-2397 to find out if it's open. You may also listen to area radio station 103.9 WLEN.
