It's time to order Easter Lilies!
Join in decorating the front of our worship area. It is an ILC tradition to purchase lilies at Easter time. That tradition stands! All plants are $7.00 each. Plants can be purchased in memory or in honor of someone or something. You will find order forms in the bulletins for the next two weeks. Fill one out and return it to Pastor's office or place it in the collection plate with cash or check payment. If using check, please write it out to Shirley Gobba.
You may also furnish the information and payment and drop it off anytime the church is open. (Office hours: Monday, Tuesday, & Friday from 10 AM to 2 PM.) Please call ahead to be sure that someone is in the office.
You have the option to mail your information and check, too.
Lilies are such a special flower: the long white closed tube-like blossom resembles a tomb, once open, the spots of yellow are said to be Mary's tears as she cried at the foot of the cross. The open blossom resembles the bell of a trumpet--sounding resplendent in announcing Jesus' resurrection. What a beautiful plant.
Throughout the year, God's Work. Our Hands committee arranges family outings from the Arc to the Zoo.
And several places in between.
Immanuel celebrates with a Super bowl party in the Gathering Area.
Our congregation joins together for dinners and other community activities plus summer camping!
Immanuel participates in church leagues through out the tri county area. Traveling Dart Ball League
is great fun! Euchre and other card games are periodically scheduled.
Music lessons are given free to all ages. Instruments include: guitar, bass, ukulele, drums, banjo, and more.
Bring a desire to learn and you will soon be praising the Lord.
Periodically, Immanuel provides free concerts featuring our organist,
M. Alejandro Thompson, and other church members during which donations are accepted for a special need or cause.
